Managing Partner, Financial Services and Insurance

About Christine West

Christine West is the Managing Partner for Financial Services and Insurance in Info-Tech’s Executive Services. Christine joined Info-Tech with over 20 years of experience in Wealth Management and Life Insurance.

As the VP in Wealth Management & Insurance of Canada Life, Christine led a 300+ person team responsible for strategy and delivery of individual customer and advisor services technology. During her tenure, she worked to transform her organization into a product-centric delivery model while scaling DevOps capabilities.

As part of a $100M+ systems modernization program at Canada Life, Christine drove the migration of 15 legacy insurance and wealth management back-office systems, enabling the organization’s digital and automation roadmaps. This effort resulted in operational efficiencies, resiliency improvements, and security risk reductions and built the basis to support the client and advisor websites.

At Manulife Financial, as AVP of contact center technology, Christine also drove the implementation of AI/ML/RPA capabilities within Contact Centre, leveraging natural language IVR, voice biometrics, and speech analytics. Those initiatives resulted in the enablement of customer and advisor self-service, shortened response times, and built the ability for data analysis to inform product and service improvements.

Christine has deep experience identifying and implementing the data analytics engines that secure and drive financial systems to enable wealth managers and employees. Her content expertise includes anti-money laundering & terrorist financing systems and large-scale digital workplace programs.

Christine earned both her Bachelor of Economics and Master of Library & Information Science at Western University.
