About Tom Hawley

Tom Hawley is a managing partner for Info-Tech, providing technology management advisory services to public sector clients in the southern United States. Tom joined Info-Tech with more than 30 years' experience in information technology. He has held senior IT leadership roles at USAA, CSAA, Coventry Healthcare, and Affirmative Insurance Holdings.

As a consultant, he has worked with companies in several industry verticals including P&C insurance, insurance analytics, energy, state and local government agencies in Texas and Nevada, and telecommunications. Just prior to Info-Tech, Tom served for five years as an executive partner for Gartner, supporting large enterprises in western and southern US across many industry verticals.

Tom’s background includes a strong emphasis on infrastructure, data center, disaster recovery, IT service management, and IT financial management. Notable projects include disaster recovery program builds, data center builds and moves, M&A integrations and divestitures, and the optimization of numerous organizations.

Tom holds an honors BBA in corporate finance from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, an MBA from Texas A&M Corpus Christi, and is currently pursuing a DBA in data analytics from Grand Canyon University. Tom has also been an active director on the St. Mary’s alumni relations board for the past several years, giving back to a school he loves.

Tom lives in San Antonio with his wife, son, twin daughters, and four adorable dogs. They spend their free time discovering new destinations when time allows and heading to the beach (South Padre Island) at every chance.
