Mitchell Fong, CDir, P.Eng, PMP, is a Research Director in the Industry practice at Info-Tech Research Group. With over 20 years of business leadership spanning strategy, product, and enterprise delivery, Mitchell partners with C-suite leaders to align technology investments with enterprise priorities, accelerate transformation, and deliver measurable business value at scale.
Prior to joining Info-Tech, Mitchell was a management consultant and executive advisor, leading complex international portfolios across high-growth startups and multinational corporations. He has served as a trusted advisor to senior leadership at some of the world's most recognized organizations, building enduring client relationships across diverse markets and geographies. Over the course of his career, Mitchell has led global teams of 1,250+ professionals and overseen portfolios exceeding $500 million, delivering meaningful enterprise outcomes, new product introductions, and agentic AI and analytics programs.
Guided by a deep belief that leadership is service, Mitchell channels his distinctive experience into causes with lasting social impact. He is a Past Chair and has served on the Board of Directors of global foundations and non-profit organizations advancing the UN Sustainable Development Goals, youth education, and health causes. A co-founder, international speaker, and active volunteer, Mitchell contributes across the CIO Association, multi-sport games organizing committees, engineering, academia, and industry conferences. He also mentors and guest-lectures and serves as an instructor and judge at global youth competitions and educational institutions, helping the next generation of leaders thrive.
Mitchell holds degrees in Software Engineering and Political Science from Western University and has completed Executive Education at Columbia Business School and the Schulich School of Business.
