About Yasemin Sezer

Yasemin Sezer is an Executive Counselor with Info-Tech’s Financial Services & Insurance Practice. Yasemin joined Info-Tech with over 30 years of experience in Wealth Management, Retail Banking, and Insurance. Yasemin established her brand as an influential technology leader with delivery excellence.

At CAPCO, Yasemin was an Executive Director overseeing Digital Transformation Programs for Tier 1 Canadian Banks and Head of Cloud & DevOps practice. The scope of projects included Frontend and Backend Transformation, Cloud Optimization, and Security Services, Digital Transformation of IT operations including implementation of DevOps for Application and Infrastructure (CI/CD pipelines, InfraOps, DevSecOps) starting from the foundational level.

At LTI Canada and predecessor organizations, Yasemin held several senior roles as Head of Technology & Operations and CIO of the Canadian Business, SVP of Software Engineering, and SVP of Vendor/Partner Management leading a global workforce of over 200 resources. Yasemin led several transformational initiatives including an organizational transformation with strong human change management aspect implementing product line-based structure resulting in significant improvements in quality, time to market and efficiencies achieving over 85% client satisfaction consistently. She led transformation of legacy platforms by API based integration, allowing clients to access their data in real time .

Yasemin Sezer has been a leader in implementing AI principles starting from Business Process Automation with BPM tools driving key business outcomes, RPA, IT automation, and lately some use cases with generative AI driving technology efficiency outcomes.

Yasemin has a BSc in Electronic Engineering. In 2019 she was awarded Top 100 Powerful Women in Canada for Science and Technology. She is a Board Director at CIO Association of Canada, chair at Emmy Noether Council of Perimeter Institute, an influential member at various CIO forums, and frequently invited as a panelist/speaker. She has led DEI initiatives and affinity groups supporting career progression for women in technology.

Yasemin loves traveling with family, playing pickleball, cooking, and gardening.
