With over 30 years’ experience in IT leadership roles across multiple industries and geographies, John has a breadth of knowledge in IT operations, business alignment, technology innovation, business transformation, and greenfield start-ups. John’s global background spans over 20 countries in the manufacturing, transportation, and food and beverages industries.

Previously, John was the CIO of Clearwater Seafoods, North America’s largest vertically integrated harvester, processor, and distributor of premium shellfish. Prior to that he held senior leadership roles as Vice President of Information Technology and Executive Director at Magna International, a $39 billion global automotive supplier, as well as management and technical roles at Freightliner Trucks and Canadian Pacific Railway. John is also co-founder of HG Kitchens International Inc. and Plant Matter Kitchen, an organic food start-up located in London, Ontario.
