Dr. Barbara Jackson is a Technical Counselor – Security at Info-Tech Research Group, bringing over 27 years of experience in enterprise IT strategy, cybersecurity, and modernization across federal and defense sectors.
Barbara contributes to Info-Tech’s position as a trusted advisor by providing strategic guidance that helps members navigate evolving cybersecurity threats, prioritize security initiatives, and align technology investments with organizational goals. Her expertise further strengthens Info-Tech’s commitment to delivering real-world, actionable insights that help IT and security leaders drive meaningful, lasting value.
Prior to joining Info-Tech, Barbara spent over 24 years in the Federal Government as an IT leader. Most notably, she led complex digital transformations, infrastructure consolidations, and security enhancements in mission-critical environments at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). Barbara holds a doctor of science in cybersecurity from Capitol Technology University and an MS in cybersecurity from National Defense University.
