Dr. Krizia Francisco holds over a decade of experience deploying technologies in complex, high-stakes environments; she brings deep expertise in data quality and readiness as the critical foundation for enterprise AI adoption. She works fluidly across technical teams and executive stakeholders, ensuring AI and data initiatives translate into measurable outcomes.
Krizia holds a PhD in Systems Design Engineering with a concentration in AI and human factors in clinical environments. Her published research introduced methodologies for measuring the impact on clinicians when AI-enabled tools are embedded into their workflows – research that continues to inform how she thinks about responsible, human-centered AI deployment.
Prior to joining Info-Tech, Krizia held senior leadership roles across Canadian digital health, working across both private sector technology vendors and public health ecosystems. She has advised and led initiatives spanning provincial health authorities, primary care, and large-scale data infrastructure modernization. Most recently, she led data product strategy at one of Canada's largest primary care EMR vendors, where she focused on enabling interoperability and strengthening provincial health authorities' capacity to use data for informed decision-making.
Outside of work, Krizia is a passionate home cook, an avid boxer, and an aspiring cellist. She also dedicates time to hands-on exploration of emerging AI capabilities, keeping her advisory work grounded in firsthand experience with the latest developments.
