About Dave Kish

Dave Kish is an IT Financial Management (ITFM) leader helping organizations mature their management of IT spending for increased business value. He supports Info-Tech members in the areas of IT spend transparency, chargeback, benchmarking, metrics programs, comparative analytics, show-back, and communicating the value of IT to their business partners. Dave has over 35 years’ experience in the IT industry and resides in Shelton, Connecticut.

Prior to joining Info-Tech, Dave was a Vice President/Expert Partner at Gartner within the IT spend transparency practice. He spent his career with Gartner helping build, manage, and launch new benchmarking capabilities to help clients make informed decisions regarding IT spend. In his early career he measured timesharing providers and evaluated pricing methodologies. As the market matured his focus shifted to measuring the spend and productivity of internal IT operations, and with the advent of outsourcing deals (managed services) he evaluated the cost vs. price of delivery. In the current environment of hybrid IT (Cloud 2.0 and on-premises) transparency of IT spending is even more important. Throughout his career he has helped clients navigate changing market dynamics and the associated impact on measuring success.
