In 2014 we delivered over 70+ projects, primarily to support corporate growth and improve customer service. Two accomplishments which we are particularly proud of include the development of an e-commerce solution to automate the exchange of business transactions with Amazon FBA and FBM channels, resulting in 200% productivity and capacity improvement. Also, based on feedback from the Info-Tech CIO Business Vision Survey, we took initiatives to improve our internal customer’s experience. Our initiatives included introducing a command center type service desk for first level support and system monitoring, published IT metrics, and a Service Desk performance dashboard. These changes contributed in improving our IT satisfaction rating from 73% in 2013 to 84% in 2014.
Upcoming Projects
In 2015 we are focusing on the completion of over 104 projects to date. Major accomplishments include the divestiture of two of our business units, the transition of our EDI portfolio to a third party provider, and a significant hardware and software upgrade to our key business systems in anticipation of future growth.
