What is ServiceNow Asset Management?

ServiceNow Asset Management tracks the financial, contractual, and inventory details of hardware and virtual infrastructure – as well as non‑IT assets – throughout their lifecycle. Asset requests are handled using workflows to obtain approvals, validate entitlements, issue chargebacks, and provision services. Once an asset is deployed, Asset Management records all maintenance activity and enables IT to perform regular audits, right up until asset retirement.

The ease of discovery of Asset makes it easier to use compare to solarwinds

I love it capability of displaying software installed on an asset. It is also easy to manage the asset life cycle and it cost analysis

I have not yet discovered a dislike

It is a great tool to have for asset management. You will not waste your money. There is also a ton of training videos available

as of now we were using in house developed tool but after service now it is a great experience
