RiskRecon and RSA Announce Partnership to Bring Cyber Risk Ratings to Archer GRC Customers

RiskRecon and RSA have announced a partnership to bring RiskRecon’s third-party risk rating services to RSA’s Archer Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) system. This should be a welcome move for Archer customers.

The announcement, which coincided with the RSA Conference 2019, promises to help bridge the gap between providers of vendor risk data and GRC tools, which are often used to store and report on risk information.

"We are super pleased to partner with RSA to bring a new use case to RSA Archer's third-party management solution," said Kelly White, co-founder and CEO of RiskRecon. "This partnership will provide customers with single-pane-of-glass visibility into objectively verified security questionnaire responses. This saves analysts significant time and yields better third-party risk outcomes."

Our Take

GRC tools have long provided repositories to store data on third-party risk, but have left the collection of this risk data to their customers. This partnership should simplify the collection and storage of third-party risk data for Archer customers. It will also likely boost the visibility of RiskRecon, which has often been over shadowed by its larger competitors, BitSight and SecurityScorecard.
