What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack has all the functionality of other competitors like teams but offers more features, more accessible UI, seamless usage on other devices and platforms, and offers integrations with a ton of other apps. Slack blows every other team communication platform I've used out of the water.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The customizability of your dashboard and pinned channels and groups.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The Direct Message area can get a little messy at times

Slack can be customized in many different ways and creates an amazing platform for people to communicate company-wide or in teams, highly recommend it.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
It is simple to use, I can add many plug-ins, and it makes my life easier overall but especially during the pandemic period. When the entire team commits to sharing updates, files, and other crucial information in designated Slack channels, Slack performs at its best. Additionally, the capability of having various channels for various groups. It facilitates conversation organization and guarantees that the appropriate parties are involved. I also appreciate how well it integrates with so many other platforms. In times when we all work from home, it is beneficial to engage in social interaction. Additionally, it is a much faster method.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Communication between individuals can happen quickly, but group communication is also feasible. As a provider, it's even more advantageous if you can collaborate with clients there and communicate with them. The ability to use Slack for free should be particularly highlighted. In principle, one can use this place for anything. Unfortunately, the storage space is limited to a few GB, making it impossible to read some older chat transcripts. We avoid this by storing the large data in our cloud and saving storage space. When it had to swiftly move into the home office, we already had Slack established before Corona.
What do you dislike most about this product?
When you have a lot of channels, it can be very noisy with all the notifications going off. The reply feature is also a little confusing, but text replies are fine. However, if you use the standard reply feature, your message simply disappears, making it difficult to locate it. Slack communication needs to be defined. Anything else that can or should be communicated via Slack. Important information may be lost in the plethora of quick updates. Unfortunately, there is no way to leave a voice message. What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Slack is, in my opinion, the most user-friendly messaging app out there. The features that separate Slack from Skype for Business, Microsoft Teams, Jabber, etc. include channels with other businesses, a wide variety of apps that can be integrated, and the intelligent Slackbot. Slack is completed by effective iOS and Android apps as well as customer support that can currently solve any issue in less than 24 hours. Slack is our primary means of communication. The long distances and boundaries of electronic mail are replaced by channels and chats, which provide a professional alternative to private messaging services like Whatsapp.
