What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Several of the teams in my bigger business are always on Slack, to the point that they think that everyone else does as well. And these teams feature a wide range of technical expertise, so while the program is intuitive in general, some training may be required to ensure that the appropriate workspaces and accounts are linked.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I appreciate that it's easy to change people's responsibilities on a team by using the user role management function. Its channels are also noteworthy because they allow users to transmit messages and files to certain groups inside an organization, such as the finance department, without having to broadcast them to the whole office. The software's user interface is another factor I consider when making a purchase.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's difficult to find fault with it, however the inability to sample files before downloading or the presence of several (usually large) font styles while previewing can be a nuisance. My ideal scenario would include the availability of both webinars, which are highly recommended for conducting video conferences amongst team members, and video calls, which would allow us to communicate with one another in a more personal and immediate fashion. Even as an administrator, you may not always be able to notice new members of the channel in your list of direct message recipients.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It was really useful as a means of communication, with fantastic desktop and mobile support. Webhooks are a great time-saver and aid in taking prompt action. Due to the bots, processes may be automated and sped up. As a developer, I greatly like the text formatting for code. The ability to have many organizations share a single channel with unique permissions can improve teamwork.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
It is easy to use, the app is excellent, and the ability to switch between platforms is efficient and effective. Also, the ability to have channels, utilize hashtags, and search for various files and messages is unmatched.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I love the ease of use and ability to share larger files that cannot be sent across emails. Also, the ability to have different channels allowed me to utilize Slack for both our organization and for personal reasons as well.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing comes to mind immediately. It's been a very helpful product for us!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is easy to use and implement, creates efficiency, and allows for faster communication which ultimately eliminates unnecessary email communication. The free version is also very extensive and may serve your organization well if you are not ready to commit to a paid plan.
