What differentiates Epicor Kinetic CRM from other similar products?
In my view, the biggest differentiator for me is how naturally it fits into day-to-day operations instead of feeling like a separate tool you have to manage.Most CRMs make you jump through menus just to get simple things done, but Epicor keeps everything tied closely to the actual workflow especially if you’re dealing with inventory, orders, or manufacturing-related processes. Another thing that stands out is the level of customization. It doesn’t force you into a rigid structure. You can tweak screens, fields, and reports to match how your team actually works, which reduces a lot of back and forth and training time.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite thing about Epicor CRM is how quickly I can pull up the exact customer or order details I need without digging around. The search and filtering feel genuinely practical not overloaded with fancy options that no one uses. When I’m on calls or responding to customer issues, being able to get a full picture in seconds actually makes a noticeable difference. I also like that updates reflect instantly across modules. If sales updates something, I can see it on my end right away. It removes a lot of miscommunication and saves time during busy hours.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The thing that annoys me the most ( I am not sure if it annoys others or not ) is that some of the configuration areas still feel a bit old school. You can do a lot with it, but getting certain settings in place takes more steps than it should. It’s not something you deal with every day, but whenever you need to tweak workflows or adjust fields, it feels like you’re fighting the system a little. Also, some of the UI sections aren’t as modern or intuitive as the newer CRMs in the market. Nothing that breaks the experience, but you definitely notice it when switching between modules.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I will say go for Epicor CRM only if you’re ready to spend a little time upfront understanding how the system ties into your existing processes. It’s powerful, but you get the best value when you set it up properly instead of just using the default structure. Also, involve the team early. A bit of training goes a long way because once people understand the flow, it becomes genuinely easy to use.
