What differentiates Epicor Prophet 21 from other similar products?

It have an advanced inventory management and a integrated e- commerce makes it diffrent from other similar softwares

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Real time tracking and multiple location management is the key aspect I like the most in this application.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Its implimentation process is so complex and another thing is that it's cost. It is not in reach of small businesses due to its comparatively high cost

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

They should work on continuous improvents to meet user specific needs. They should be updated by latest technology to improve quality of the software

What differentiates Epicor Prophet 21 from other similar products?

While Prophet 21 was installed as an inventory management system, the financial management elements are also excellent. Reporting and analytics are average, with custom reporting done outside of P21 (in Crystal Reports or SQL; also MITS is a good bolt-on for dashboards).

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite are the Cash Collection Notes and follow up reminders for outstanding accounts.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Did not offer a full suite of ERP including HR management.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Take the time to improve your warehouse processes before implementation so you are not customizing inefficiencies into your work flow.
