What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Asana creates the right environment to take advantage of integration with third party software technologies, to automate day to day work processes, workflows and repetitive tasks. Using Asana's graphical workflow builder , we have setup cascading due dates and automated the process of assigning tasks to members of a project group. This has ensured that available tasks are automatically assigned to the next person on the flow, without necessarily needing to check a box or even alerting the entire team.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Asana is the major project management outfit that I have used, which has in-built collaboration features. This reduces the need to rely on third party integrations for effective collaboration during projects. Among the key collaboration features present on Asana includes the ability to plan tasks assignment around the availability of team members existing schedule and stay up to date with latest project progress without the need for back and forth messaging.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Asana's user interface design has made it cumbersome using the application through mobile phones ( the Asana mobile app.) . This is my only point of reservation with this software.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Asana's intuitive nature and its collection of features makes it an ideal project management tool for teams in love with automating parts of their project management workflow.

What differentiates Asana from other similar products?
Asana's integration with popular third party apps we rely upon at work for day to day productivity like Slack, Zoom , Tableu ....... These integrations assist my team to expand the default functionalities of Asana. The best example of extended functionality as a result of third party integration , is how I and my teammates get notified on our Slack application every time a project and task is updated on the Asana platform.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Asana is very flexible and this flexibility is the reason why we ' ve been able to adapt Asana to fit into the project management requirements of different departments within my work institution, to great success.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Mobile view on Asana is limited and I likewise have reservations about the frequency of Asana's email notifications.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Asana is ideally suited for tracking tasks and projects during collaboration. The technical or non-technical nature of the project being managed is irrelevant.
