What differentiates Absorb LMS from other similar products?
It actually worked for our frontline setup. The observation checklists were a big differentiator for on-the-job assessments, and the support from our CSM made a huge difference. I wasn’t just buying software — I had a team behind me.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The flexibility. Absorb has given me room to grow into more advanced features while still delivering solid results right away. I can start simple and layer in more as our training function matures — like the observation checklists, which I haven’t launched yet but are perfectly suited to our retail environment
What do you dislike most about this product?
I’d love to see observation checklists supported in the mobile app — that would make on-the-job assessments even easier for frontline teams like ours. Also 'Create" (an add on) could use some development as an authoring tool it it needs more advanced assessment tools,
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Map your structure before you dive in — it makes the setup smoother and saves time later. Also, take full advantage of the Absorb support team (they’re brilliant). And don’t be afraid to start small — you can build out over time without losing momentum.

Absorb LMS seems to be more user friendly.

My favorite aspect of this product is ease of enrolling learners.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I would love to be able to have leaderboards based on tags associated with courses.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are looking for ease user enrollment and the ability to review learners transcripts and create courses, this software would be beneficial.

What differentiates Absorb LMS from other similar products?
It has most of the features that all LMS have. I have seen multiple different LMSs, and this one seems to have the most features, allowing users to adjust based on their needs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are many, but I appreciate the supervisor's approval process before enrollment.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not being able to modify all the User experience jargon, for example, the "Add to calendar" option for the learner. It should have a hover effect stating, 'Until the manager/supervisor approves, this button will be unavailable.'
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To give it a go, and know if you have any recommendations, that they listen to the feedback board that comes in, and they implement if there are enough votes.
