iSpring Releases New Course-Selling Platform, Flora LMS
iSpring expands its product offering with Flora LMS, a subscription-based course-selling platform targeted at business trainers, edupreneurs, and training companies.
The platform is a one-stop shop for those looking to monetize their courses. It reduces the need for multiple services and provides the insights and functionality of an LMS. Flora has traditional LMS features, such as support for multiple types of content (video, documents, SCORM, PowerPoint), creating certificates and rewards for completing courses, and a learners’ portal.
The key features that differentiate this product are:
Course marketplace – The online storefront allows each course to have its own page with description, reviews, and a preview of the content. Since its built on an LMS, courses and files can be classified into learning paths with completion rules and due dates. These pages are visible to search engines and support custom branding so that it can reduce or eliminate the need for another website.
Payment options – The platform supports credit card payment and common online payment systems (Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net) in 30 currencies so courses can be sold internationally.
