What differentiates UiPath Business Automation Platform from other similar products?

The major difference between Ui path and its competitors is that it still provides access to system based software to work on whereas other automation plateform are shifted on cloud based which makes them less inefficient because internet becomes mandatory if you want to use them. Whereas, we can easily use Ui Path even without internet connectivity.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has a lot of features for automation developers like me where i can automate both system and web based tasks. We also have options to integrate different programming language scripts to implement required logics within automation workflow. Having access to Xpath makes it more efficient for web based automation.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Parallelly More support to cloud based model should be given and System based plateform should continue forever because it brings efficiency for automation developers developing system specific automations.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Based on my exposure and extensive experience in Cognizant as software engineer and working as an automation developer for our client, i would highly recommend UiPath.

The key difference is the strong community and learning support around UiPath. There are plenty of tutorials, forums, and free learning resources that help users solve problems quickly. When something goes wrong, chances are someone has already faced it and shared a solution. This kind of ecosystem makes a big difference in real-world usage.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favourite aspect is the flexibility UiPath offers. It works with many different applications, even older systems that do not have APIs. This makes it useful in real business environments where not everything is modern or perfectly integrated. Very few tools handle this as smoothly.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I dislike is that advanced features have a steep learning curve. While basic automation is easy, more complex scenarios require deeper technical knowledge. This can slow down progress for small teams or non technical users. Better guided learning within the tool would help bridge this gap.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would advise new users to focus on process standardization before building bots. Clean and well-defined processes work much better with automation. Make sure systems and inputs are stable to avoid frequent failures. Start simple and scale gradually as confidence grows. Keep documentation for each automation for easy maintenance. This helps avoid confusion as the number of bots increases.
