What differentiates ESPED eStar Learning Management System from other similar products?
I think the fact thar especially is very user friendly and simple to use is what makes it stand out. You do not need fancy tutorials to get started on data collection and retrieval. It is upfront and easy to implement out of the "box."
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is the fact that I am able to print and archive draft and final documents through the program quickly and easily. It is a very predictable software which makes creating ieps or lpacs a much simpler, synergized task than with other more sophisticated programs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
What really bugs me about the program is the program glitches OFTEN and signs me out for absolutely no reason. What is worse is that I have lost so much work because it will not save what you had worked on when it automatically logs you out. Also, uploading documents in pdf form is extremely tedious.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend you sit with your staff and print out all the click sheets you need for the work you will do. Hole punch these click sheets and create a binder with this info. Tab it and keep it as a reference manual for when things go awry.
