What differentiates Sumo Logic Application Observability from other similar products?
With Sumo Logic I have been able to manage our company logs, monitor metrics, create dashboards and alerts for monitoring, set service level goals, and track our development and test environments.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
To quickly filter through massive records and extract the necessary data using a few simple queries. Several options to further filter based on namespace, cluster name, etc. They will be available once we obtain the data. Sumologic was used for monitoring purposes.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We create shareable search URLs every time we acquire data from a Sumologic query and we would like to share it with other team members. As a general rule, you don't load the shared URL when someone else has submitted it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Sumo Logic receives a large number of metrics from our code and we set up alerts to notify us if it meets certain requirements. What we really love about pagerduty is how it integrates with sumologic.

What differentiates Sumo Logic Application Observability from other similar products?
its log analysis solution is quite good and especially live tail of the logs is very useful when you are troubleshooting the production incident
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
live tailing of the logs, its near real time and saves a lot of time and this feature is missing in some other open source and proprietary softwares
What do you dislike most about this product?
Apart from logging, i didn't see many innovations or distinguish features which makes it less competitive and now there are many competitive products have come up which leverages the AI/ML to bring more efficiency
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
compare the features set and choose based on what you really need for your use case

I think it is very easy to integrate with existing systems which is it's differentiating factor.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use and automated flows.
What do you dislike most about this product?
AI is being advertised as being part of the product but I didn't find any value add through AI in my project.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is recommended to first try it out on your current project and see the value add before making the purchase.
