Product improvements too constricted for the cost

What differentiates Zoom from other similar products?
During the beginning stages of the pandemic Zoom stood apart because they were more prepared than other products, scaled and moved quickly. It feels too bureaucratic now and I think Zoom has lost their footing as the top player in this space.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
A lot of smart folks on the tech side of this company and there's so much potential. I love the captioning improvements and the continuing commitment to accessibility.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It's a big company/product that isn't always thinking big in the eyes of their customers. I've had hugely ineffective conversations with some of their team members, going in circles, never really taking the time to dig into our needs and possess real solutions, very surface level interactions.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
There are so many good options out there now. If your needs are straightforward and you're working with folks who are used to Zoom, go for it, but if you have any complex requests, be sure to parse them out in conversation -- no question is a stupid question in these meetings, dig into the details.
