Great for remote users who use their own devices

What differentiates Azure Virtual Desktop from other similar products?
You can use citrix or similar products but if you have an azure/365 environment then DaaS is the way to go. No need to give out hardware saving on Capex and users can just log in using their 365 credentials and they have a Windows desktop that connects automatically with your cloud infrastructure. It is easy to configure and works out of the box.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Integration with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Migrating and the cost per DaaS can be high but still out ways the cost of hardware for users.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you use SharePoint, Azure VMs ect and don't want to spend lots of money on client devices, then the time to set up the users ect, just use DaaS.
Pros
- Reliable
- Enables Productivity
- Inspires Innovation
- Fair
