What differentiates OpenText Functional Testing from other similar products?
Micro Focus UFT Mobile is a complete tool to manage, automate and execute manual and automatic test cases over mobile devices. Is easy to install, deploy and maintain and is improving continuously in order to ensure the last versions of iOS and Android are always compatible. Also it provides an excellent support in order to give resolution to some doubts but also to resolve technical problems with specific errors. No other product achieves to be on the vanguard of mobile devices.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
UFT Mobile always ensure the last versions of iOS and Android are compatible with their tool. This is a hard task to do, as there are too many updates over the year in both Operating Systems. However, Micro Focus is able to deal with it, giving continuous updates to the product and easy to update.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The only problem I see is in the price. UFT Mobile is a complete product to automate and do manual test over mobile devices, however is too expensive for a start-up or a small companies.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Other products require too many time configuring the platform, also updating or finding solutions to a new iOS or Android version or also to implement by yourself a solution to it (take in care that iOS and Android release a new version each year and you need to use the last market version of both Operating Systems). UFT Mobile is a complete product to avoid all this situation, removes the complexity of iOS and Android compatibilities and new versions, and also simplifies the infrastructure of the laboratory, as an iOS and Android device can be connected on the same Windows machine.
