Enterprise-grade Message Queue Service! (No Srvrs)
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Microsoft Azure Service Bus from other similar products?
Azure Service Bus is a native service where the traditional baggage of spinning up services or containers is trimmed to NONE! Gone are the days of lengthy time to market by Infrastructure and Development Teams to install and configure a messaging service like Kafka, RabbitMQ and the like. There is no infrastructure required anymore.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is able to provide message queueing with other non Azure Service Bus components like Kafka and can adhere to the naming convention standards set aside on both products
What do you dislike most about this product?
Failover capabilities are lacking and are depending upon the Microsoft backplane
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For a fast and easy implementation for mid-grade development teams, Azure Service Bus provides ease of use for a small fraction of the cost, thereby reducing risk and minimizing downtime with unnecessary patching, patch management and downtime associated with maintaining message queueing applications!
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Reliable
- Performance Enhancing
- Enables Productivity
Cons
- Less Generous
- Under Delivered
