Awesome product to backup the applications with convenience.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

It has auto backup policies which helps to backup the apps automatically.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I haven't seen any issues in that. But it's cost are little high.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I am highly recommended this.

What differentiates Microsoft Azure Backup from other similar products?

I think what makes Azure Backup unique compared to other similar products is its seamless integration with Microsoft's cloud ecosystem, providing a comprehensive solution for data backup and recovery. It also offers different options for backing up data, including file and folder backup, application-consistent backup of virtual machines, and system state backup

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My best experience with Azure Backup has been its ease of use and the flexibility it offers in terms of scheduling backups. For example, I really appreciated the ability to schedule backups on a daily or weekly basis as well as customize the retention policy for each backup as well as the ability to restore files and folders in just a few clicks.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I don't have any significant complaints about Azure Backup as my experience with the product has been very positive

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

My recommendation to someone considering Azure Backup would be to evaluate their specific backup and recovery needs and prioritize the features they require in a solution. If they heavily rely on Microsoft's cloud ecosystem, then Azure Backup is an excellent solution to consider due to its integration capabilities.

Backup of Cloud Based Data In addition to targeting backups to the cloud, the solution also has the capability to back up primary data and services already in the cloud.

Automated Backup Testing and Verification Goes beyond monitoring whether backup jobs completed by verifying the integrity of data restoration.

Backup Automation Solution automates backup, recovery and remediation tasks using RestAPI and CLI to integrate with 3rd party solutions, reduce cost and enforce standards.

Integration With Storage Arrays Integrates with APIs from major storage vendors (NetApp, HP, Dell EMC) to leverage capabilities in these arrays such as data snapshots and replication.

Virtual Machine Backup Automatically discovers and protects VMs as they come online, move, and change. Production VMs are replicated to a secondary data store.

Backup Monitoring and Reporting Backup and replication are continually monitored for status and effectiveness. Detailed reporting is available on successful and unsuccessful operations.

Physical Backup for Multiple Platforms Backs up data and system info for non-virtualized systems. Primarily Windows and Linux servers but also, potentially, AIX, Unix and others.

Application Awareness Application consistent backup and granular restore for application data from core applications such as MS SQL, Oracle, MS Exchange, MS SharePoint.
