What differentiates Helix ALM from other similar products?
As a result, we were able to comprehend how much work still needed to be done and how far along we were with the QA testing. The software has good capabilities for connecting various pieces of data among the numerous modules we utilize. Additionally, it is flexible enough to be set up to work with multiple workflows.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The most important factor is Filters, which our organization uses as frequently as feasible. Additionally, we are delighted with the requirements part. Helix ALM is incredibly flexible and can be set up almost however you need it. It may be configured to automate various processes, offering first-rate customer service if you have any complaints. Catalogues make it simple to organize products, and the program is adaptable and allows for extensive customization to meet our needs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We cannot produce the dashboards we require. There aren't enough widgets, so we're limited to using the pre-defined ones. You can only generate a report for each project you create after that. It is challenging to carry out administrative chores via the web when access to a workstation on the server's network is unavailable since not all functionalities are available using the online interface.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Inexpensive and simple to use testing and requirement engineering tool. It makes it simpler to manage test cases and defects by centralizing everything. We were able to start moving about reasonably soon. Other elements appear to be simple and user-friendly. However, the search might be significantly improved.

Matrix of traceability and Helix in general use

What differentiates Helix ALM from other similar products?
One central location for requirements, bugs, and testing; immediate updates to ensure that everyone is working with the most recent version; the simple addition of new users and licenses; simple updating of fields and text to better meet project requirements. I could correctly record software specs using this software, which was then connected to test cases and used for test runs.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Stocking files is an excellent feature for users because they are preserved on the server and can be accessed by other users even if the developer's system breaks or the developer leaves the firm—the organization and connection of the traceability on a single page. New test cases and requirements may be added, as well as support for the requirements' overall flow. The dashboard has helpful information and looks fantastic—troubles with love. You can quickly identify the needed problem with them.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Links might be presented in a more streamlined manner for users. Even though there are many configuration options, the lack of a way to save and share a view between users and specifically for each document drastically hinders usability. Reports can't be exported to Word to insert test cases into the document template used by our firm.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Suitable for both business and IT professionals. Someone has asked how to utilise it. It was always responded to promptly. It is an excellent source control tool all around. Additionally, automation scripts have command-line tools in them. It imposes respectable testing and problem ticket methodology.
