Love the concept of a master password, it's great.

The compatibility issues, where some features are on some platforms and not others.

This makes it a good choice for users who need to manage their passwords on multiple devices.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite aspect of Dashlane is its ease of use. It has a clean and intuitive interface, and it is easy to learn and use. This makes it a good choice for users of all skill levels, including those who are not tech-savvy. I also appreciate the comprehensive set of features that Dashlane offers. In addition to password storage and management, Dashlane also offers password generation, autofill, dark web monitoring, and VPN. This makes it a one-stop shop for password management and security. Finally, I think that Dashlane is competitively priced. It offers a free tier with basic features, and its paid plans are affordable.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The main thing I dislike about Dashlane is its lack of support for hardware security keys. Hardware security keys are a type of two-factor authentication that is considered to be more secure than traditional two-factor authentication methods, such as SMS codes.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

1 - Use a strong master password. Your master password is the key to all of your other passwords, so it is important to choose a strong one. Make sure that your master password is at least 12 characters long and includes a mix of upper and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols. 2 - Enable two-factor authentication. Two-factor authentication adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring you to enter a code from your phone in addition to your password when you log in. 3 - Keep your Dashlane app up to date. Dashlane regularly releases updates that include security fixes and new features.

What differentiates Dashlane from other similar products?

Dashlane has not had a data breach and their configuration and setup is extremely secure. As an Administrator you do not have access to your users passwords. Dashlane also allows for the ability to share credentials without the other party ever seeing the password. Dashlane makes it extremely easy to share and secure passwords across our Departments and allows us to keep our passwords protected, secure, and updated. The iOS app integrates with the browser allowing our users to also use Dashlane on their mobile devices and keep all of their passwords synched.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I love how secure Dashlane is and that I can share a password with a coworker so that they can access a site and they can’t actually see what the password is. I also love how well Dashlane integrates with the iPhone and iOS.

What do you dislike most about this product?

If you have a user leave and need access to their passwords it is impossible to access their password vault. I appreciate the security around this however it does prevent some challenges as an administrator.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Dashlane is the best password on the market. We spent months researching other password managers and they are truly one of the only ones that has not had a breach. Their password management application and their architecture makes their application extremely secure.
