AWS is a very complete and robust service, although previous knowledge and training is required.

Train the personnel who will use it very well in order to optimize costs.

Great solution for hosting Linux-based ERP system

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
Cost tiers were very good with comparison to Azure. We also use Azure for Windows-based servers but the network capabilities and support made AWS a winner for Linux solution.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Cost, networking and support structure.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Only downside is having two different eco systems with our Windows servers on Azure and Linux on AWS so creates slightly more overhead for finance department to handle two vendors instead of one.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Definitely get all the pricing info you can in comparison to Azure.

What differentiates Amazon EC2 from other similar products?
1. End user friendly dashboard 2. Large community 3. Breadth of services and support
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
AWS Lambda and Dynamo DB are the most useful ones for me. We have deployed large number of threads on the cloud which run continuously on the server for clients.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have a good experience of AWS along with a third party certification. At this level I am happy with all services been provided.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Take a small course or a training before deploying real world applications because once you get into the system, the billing will start. However, billing is very transparent and pocket friendly if you use smartly.
