He did not receive any of my work ahead of meetings, but in an hour or less (per session) was able to distill, refine and guide key elements of the strategy that I crafted. The Goals cascade workbook was adapted to fit my needs, and it still worked perfectly - a structured, traceable method to develop a fit-for-purpose and adaptable strategy. It did start with a bit of a stumble though; the initial analyst (definitely not Benoit!) hadn't taken the time to look over the diagnostics we'd done beforehand. Thankfully, as soon as Benoit took the reins, we really hit our stride and things moved forward smoothly. It's hard to put a number on the time or cost savings from this particular exercise. The process and the deliverables ended up being a bit more detailed than was probably essential for this specific strategy refresh, but on the flip side, it was an excellent learning opportunity. It gave us a practical feel for how a much more in-depth approach to IT strategy can be structured. Thanks Benoit for your expertise and energy, and to Tim for bring us together and coordinating. Frank was respectful and helped the team make significant and positive change at their pace, inline with their learning. He didn't focus on why this hadn't been done before he only focused on forward and learning which made the relationship of trust grow with the team which in turn accelerated the learning. I can't recommend InfoTech and Frank more highly to how positively impactful they have been to my support team. Additionally because InfoTech's content ties together, Frank was able to explain how product management and change management need to support operational changes and how support needs to be involved in these changes so they are ready to support users as they go live. We have a complex virtual environment supporting staff from coast to coast to coast. Our current ITSM tool was designed in the 1990s, although moved to a new platform in 2018, there was no reflection or review of the state of our processes or assessment of the quality of our ITSM tool. As a result, we have been facing several challenges. Working with Theo and Benedict, we have objectively assessed the state of our current ITSM tool, our workflows and our knowledge base. They have helped us identify gaps and opportunities for improvement. Together we have determined the service desk reporting that will enable us to enhance our service visibility to our agency, improve service quality and ensure partner satisfaction. We have also assessed and are building a communication structure to be included within our workflows and into our ITSM tool refresh. We have an aggressive two-year plan to modernize our service desk. Theo and Benedict are a critical element in guiding us through the standardize service desk blueprint and apply to our environment. It is very challenging to troubleshoot as well due to the lack of documentation for the tool and if you don't have the deep knowledge of how it was built, troubleshooting is hard.
