What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Particularly effective for voice chat and instant messaging. It has a rich selection of collaboration and communication tools for modern teams. Along with standard collaboration capabilities like file sharing, gifs and reactions in messages, it suits the needs of any team
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Built-in chat and file sharing tools and the app automatically notifies each team member of any channel updates and when it's time for a meeting.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Setting up a new channel is easy but adding parties outside the organization the app asks for permission every time.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Slack is especially helpful when teams need to exchange information that isn't easy to convey verbally. Teams that choose to use Slack keep conversations organized and easy to follow, as opposed to shifting through long email chains.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Slack successfully simplifies group based communication and collaboration, in a way no other substitute productivity tool currently does.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Slack channels. With Slack channels, we can successfully create organised conversational spaces, where select employees of like minds, be it in terms of being part of the same office department , part of the same project etc can message, share files and generally collaborate. As a result of the above , we are having better work related communication and reducing the noise usually associated with group conversations.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Quality of video on Slack is not good enough for me , neither does Slack provide adequate features when it comes down to video conferencing.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Slack is well suited for most modern organisations.

What differentiates Slack from other similar products?
Instant messaging is very efficient, organised in channels, conversations and threads. I like the Slackbot, especially the reminders and suggestions it gives me (like deleting the channels I don't use).
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I really like threads in slack. This organization of conversations, where you can respond to a specific comment made by another person, helps keep the topic moving along. Mentions are also helpful when you want a specific person to see your comment - they will be notified that you mentioned it. File sharing works well. I like the integration with my survey tools and get notifications of new responses. The ability to add custom emoticons - the best! In video calls, nothing surprises - it works ok. For group meetings, especially workshops, the ability to create groups for users is useful. Several groups can talk simultaneously.
What do you dislike most about this product?
For some reason, I can't share my screen during video calls. Can't find out why. Conversations disappear from the list after some period of inactivity. If I don't remember a person's name, I find it difficult to find such a thread later.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you have a big group of people who cooperate and talk all the time, that's your tool.
