What differentiates ManageEngine Endpoint Central from other similar products?
ManageEngine Desktop Central allows an IT Administrator to manage and interact remotely with the endpoints all over the infrastructure in a transparent way.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is the possibility to extract data about the software used in the infrastructure and deploy a wide range of configurations from a centralized platform
What do you dislike most about this product?
The support for the product is very poor and the training material doesn't help much
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
ManageEngine Desktop Central is a product with a huge potential. Simple in its base use but very powerful in the right hands.

It's very intuitive, easy to use and to manage

The support is not great and the KB can be vague sometimes

Manage Engine Desktop Central is a very user friendly product that allows an IT Admin to manage and interact with the whole infrastructure with ease, the agent is not heavy and can be deployed massively without any problem. The only downside is the support in this case and the training material that is not very detailed.

Broad suite of tools.. relatively easy to administer.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Software deployment mechanics.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Wish you are able to deploy configurations to user or computer groups, and the software was smart enough to re-evaluate whether or not the configuration was deployed to determine if it needed to be done again. They get close but you can't 100% depend on it.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Figure out what your time is worth. You may be able to cobble together similar tools from free tools but this represents a reasonable compromise in functionality vs cost and effort.
