Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?
Cisco Jabber is a communication platform aimed at companies that need to maintain constant communication between their employees and customers, with a web-based system offers the possibility of making various connections such as calls, VoIP, and video calls, as well as transmission of files all in real time, both with people within the company and with people from other organizations with which we relate commercially.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It is easy to add new employees to the service making us more connected and satisfactory, sending messages is very simple and takes little time, it is possible to share screen and see what the other wants to show us in our meetings, very intuitive interface and provides a security that gives us peace of mind when it comes to protecting our business data. It allows integrations to make calls to other similar communication tools.
What do you dislike most about this product?
There have been compatibility problems with previous versions of Windows forcing us to make many updates that took us time and made us lose configurations and data, despite allowing it sometimes connections with other platforms often take too long which is detrimental to maintain communication with partners or customers. Sometimes the application takes a little longer than it should take to load at startup.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is excellent as a means of communication for both inside and outside the company, keeps our employees connected with partners and customers giving us greater efficiency when making transactions and schedules, can still be correcting errors and become a better alternative, if you are starting in this world of Cisco, it can be a great alternative for your company. It makes great use of the equipment's ram memory and its features.
Pros
- Continually Improving Product
- Enables Productivity

Jabber Helps to manage our call center remotely
Likeliness to Recommend
What differentiates Cisco Jabber from other similar products?
It's a quick and easy way to collaborate or web conference, as everyone knows how to use it in our offices. Because everyone has an account that logs in at the start of their shift, we know we will always be able to communicate, which has been helpful several times.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
End users can use the services with devices of their choice without compromising security due to unsecured devices. The implementation omits the requirement to have the device connected to the corporate network via VPN; we can onboard users faster and maintain corporate security. The deployment also provides flexibility for the user to have Cisco Jabber installed on multiple devices.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Unintuitive interface, basic paid feature, complex group management, complex screen sharing to implement. The interface is from another era. Features are a bit cluttered.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
It is a very easy to use interface for audio and video calls, and is also used for live chatting. Cisco Jabber brought great chat and video capability to the PBX platform with little difficulty in implementing it in the environment. It is easy to set up Jabber on both a mobile device and your computer, and both seem to work equally well. The ability to send private messages is very useful, and the fact that Jabber saves conversations is also very helpful.
