What is Abnormal Security?

The Abnormal Security platform protects enterprises from targeted email attacks. Abnormal Behavior Technology (ABX) models the identity of both employees and external senders, profiles relationships and analyzes email content to stop attacks that lead to account takeover, financial damage and organizational mistrust. Though one-click, API-based Office 365 and G Suite integration, Abnormal sets up in minutes and does not disrupt email flow.

What differentiates Abnormal Security from other similar products?

We had Proofpoint which accidentally blocked our company signature and caused a major disruption in our organization. We immediately replaced it with Abnormal and the Abnormal Security tool not only saved us time by blocking the phishing emails but also improved overall performance and saved us $$$. Abnormal blocked the phishing emails that needed to be blocked. Bulk email removal from organization is very easy and works wonderfully. Provides the preview links as well. Excellent email security product and to control phishing emails at a remarkable level .

The ease of safe-listing/removing the phishing emails

What do you dislike most about this product?

Nothing at all.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Definitely buy it, Worth every $$

What differentiates Abnormal Security from other similar products?

Great account takeover protection and strong identification of malicious email content with a low false positive rate. Easy of implementation and strong integration with Crowdstrike made for a well-rounded product.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

Account takeover protection - this feature shines and stands out above other vendors in this marketplace

What do you dislike most about this product?

Sometimes the reporting of missed email attacks didn't work properly and the feedback was inadequate

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Abnormal is a strong contender in this space - there are alternatives, but give the product a go and see if it works well for you - the account takeover and strong integration paths are worth it
