What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake is multi-cloud, so you are not locked into any individual provider. They provide better ANSI SQL support than any other solution (including Redshift and Spark). They integrate well with other big data products (we used Snowflake in conjunction with Spark). Snowflake is moving in the real-time direction (as seen by features like Snow Pipe and the Kafka connector), and is just doing a great job at keeping up (and staying ahead) of the market in general.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
We only paid for what we used, as opposed to paying for a constantly-running Redshift cluster. We were a small shop, so price was crucial to us, and Snowflake came out on top in our PoVs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Their UI was not the best when I worked with them, but they have since acquired a UI company.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Be sure to take the time to understand the pricing model (warehouse sizes, minimum warehouse runtime, price for storage, etc.) so you don't get caught off guard.

What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
Snowflake is a leader in data and analytics. It provides many features that competitors do not provide such as time-travel back to a snapshot.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Time-travel feature is my personal favorite because it allows me to go back in time to my data.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Nothing to dislike! Great warehousing tool and awesome integrations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Identify your priorities with a warehousing or analytics solution. This helped us figure out how to best use Snowflake. Snowflake has an abundance of new features, so easy to get lost.

What differentiates Snowflake from other similar products?
What differentiates Snowflake is the fact that the data warehousing solution it offers is data agnostic and enables a complete end-to-end consolidation of all data products in a single scalable product. Snowflake also stands out as being one of the most affordable options out there, enabling both small and large organizations to aggregate and leverage their data for analytics and decision making.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Auto Suspend is my favorite feature of Snowflake because it allows me to set an hourly limit to how much I want to spend for data warehousing. Uploading data into Snowflake is a fast and straightforward process with only 2 clicks needed. The data loading times are fast and it's available to be used immediately. Worksheets in Snowflake enable me to quickly pull relevant data into a table using SQL which can then be used for data analysis and reporting.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The UI could be updated so to a bit more modern and user-friendly, but otherwise, I have nothing that I dislike about the product!
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For those looking for a data warehousing solution, I would highly recommend giving Snowflake a try and discover all of its functionalities!
