What differentiates Smallworld GNM from other similar products?
I have always found visualizing network data to be extremely convenient when dealing with huge and complex networks.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
This would give us access to up to date and accurate information while planning and performing maintenance tasks thereby ease for our engineers at the operational level field.
What do you dislike most about this product?
It can take a while to get a comprehensive feel of the features in its entirety data accuracy when managing extensive data sets is also something to always keep in mind otherwise our analysis would be faulty.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
The most appealing quality is the ease to manage and provide logical views in respect to the network and its associated elements and to provide solution not just through technical lens but through real world geographic view.

What differentiates Smallworld GNM from other similar products?
Smallworld GIS bring more than 30 years of leading technology suite for Electric, Gas, Telco and Water companies. The software has robust version management, workflow tools, integration options and features specific for Utilities, including it's own rich data model oriented for business needs. The architecture is ready for cloud and on premise deployments, and the platform continue evolving as the real world needs for a single source of truth asks for a GIS as strategic tool.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
As IT Consultant, my favorite aspect is the richness of the out-of-the-box tools that comes with the product and also the capabitlities to add customizations to meet specific needs.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The Mobile offering. It's a gap but I am aware it's being addressed with new software solutions in the next years.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are someone working with Asset Management and GIS I would encourage you to know more from GE and also from current customers to see the value Smallworld (now Geo Network Management - GNM) brings and the advantages of an already proven solution to meet past, current and future challenges.
