What differentiates SailPoint Identity Security Cloud from other similar products?
SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is a market leading product which offers a who lot of connectors out of the box and it being an API first product gives the capability to connect where connectors are not available. Also, it being an industry leader, the number of service providers one can work with is pretty big.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The whole host of APIs which SailPoint provides makes a big difference, especially in the areas where the connectors are not fit for purpose.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The support provided by SailPoint is very dissatisfying. That and some of the connectors are pretty vanilla and offer only basic capabilities.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Document and understand your use cases - what do you want to do, how do you want to do it, what is the success criteria. Think about who will be implementing the product,

SailPoint Identify Security is mainly focus on authentication or access management is there main task. SailPoint goes deeper is purpose built for indentify governance and administration (IGA), meaning it manges the entire identify lifecycle .
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect is like to who has acess to what across Every system from cloud app to legacy on perm directories. Also like SailPoint handles joiner mover workflows, acess certifications and policy enforcement.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I don't like one thing SailPoint it can feel complex and heavy to set up and maintain .
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I recommendation if you considering SailPoint Identify Security then marks my words you have to be ready for complexity SailPoint built for large complex environment and don't go in expecting a simple plug and play setup. Invest in planning you connectors and integration because the real value comes from integration with all your apps, cloud systems and directories.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I can see who has access to what, approve requests quickly, and trust that everything stays secure. It really saves me time and gives peace of mind knowing access is controlled and compliant. Additionally, the platform’s AI-driven analytics and risk-based recommendations enable me to proactively identify and remediate access risks, providing a higher level of security and operational efficiency.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The one thing I find a bit challenging with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud is its initial setup and configuration. Integrating all systems and setting up workflows takes time and requires careful planning.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
For new users of SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, I recommend focusing on lifecycle management to automate onboarding and offboarding, access certification to regularly review permissions, and integration with critical applications to ensure all systems are governed.
