What differentiates Ramp AP Automation from other similar products?
For me as the Cost Accounting Manager and the Manager of my Accounts Payable team, it is really night and day to go from a competitor product to using Ramp. Ramp is one of the best products we have used in a long time. They are always implementing and customizing. The level of support, process improvement ensuring new updates exceed other similar products. I have worked with another competitor and we were with them for years and there was never any improvements and no automation. I have sat in other presentations and they didn't come close to Ramp. Ramp is real time and user friendly for all roles.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favorite aspect of the product is how Ramp is always working to make things better. They are always creating customizations to improve their product. They listen to their customers and hey add it to their roadmap and by tomorrow you'll have that feature.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Not being able to link Item receipts to PO to Bill. I can see it in Ramp but I would love to have that feature feed back into NetSuite for easy reconciliation on our end. I also want to say implementation for us was very self serve. I don't know if this is for everyone but in the beginning when we were implementing it felt like it was on us rather then we relied on them to give us a schedule. We have worked with many implementations and normally we have a project manager who goes through the checklist to ensure we were setup right. Unfortunately we didn't feel like we had that experience, it worked out and we managed well.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Go for Ramp! You will not regret it. Its a great product and its real time.
