What differentiates Meisterplan from other similar products?
The ease of use for what the product does is probably second to none. To be honest, I didn't know a product like this existed. A marriage of real data and project management at a high level not only encourages companies to solve difficult operational problems it helps them with every step in the process.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Meisterplan's API and documentation make this product first in class for solving real world "what if" problems without taking 5 years to cobble the data together.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I always wish we had even more control over the product using the API, but I'm a software developer, at some point you have to set SOME limitations.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are in a position where data matters to you, and understanding the habits and probable outcomes is important a tool like this could change the way you do business forever.

What differentiates Meisterplan from other similar products?
Meisterplan is one of the only products in its nature that gives you the portfolio management you need, without the need to purchase an entire project management suite. In addition, because they focus strongly on the portfolio and resource management piece, they do it very well. When reviewing products all required actual resource times for staff, Meisterplan takes a unique approach of adding FTE to help organizations that do not have billable resources to plan as well. We find that this product works well for Higher Education Information Technology resource and project planning.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
There are many aspects of this product that we enjoy, if I were to pick one, is the ease of use of the web interface. It provides not only an easy to configure environment, but also an easy to understand dashboard for all users.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have not found anything that we truly dislike with this product. It satisfies all our portfolio and resource planning needs.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Meisterplan is an easy to implement product, and you have unlimited support from their team. I can't offer much recommendations, as every industry is different, but if the product features fit for your organization, then I am sure you will be happy with the product, as the support is great and the product itself if wonderful.

The speed and volume of continuous improvement releases can be challenging to keep up with over time.

Try this product for lightweight portfolio management and take advantage of the integrations to reduce data entry across internal products.
