What differentiates GitLab from other similar products?
We can use it as a remote git repository to collaborate with co-workers on a project. We can make several branches based on what functionality is being developed. And we can create merge requests and then merge all the work in the main branch. Co-working on software project is very easy with GitLab.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The best thing that I like about GitLab is that it is open source. Moreover it offer unlimited private repositories without limitation of contributors, when compared to GitHub. GitHub offers only 3 contributors to private repositories. It also supports continuous integration, delivery and integration with Jira. It also supports import using Git. It also supports different programming languages.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The website for mobile is not optimised at all, so if you get the notification that your build failed, it is hard to check the result from your mobile. It also has a tricky login button location from mobile, so that part what they could put focus on
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would definitely recommend this tool for CI/CD implementation

A Great tool for managing repository.

What differentiates GitLab from other similar products?
Flexible and secured. Easy commands. Very Short command can do a powerful impact. Repository is very secured. Supports both large and short size projects.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Supports both command Prompt and git gui command. Cicd pipeline supported. Can be operated in more seamless manner. Bugs are easy to track. Can show status of your workspace as compared to Repository
What do you dislike most about this product?
UI application should be there like github. Otherwise I think it is good to go with.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Good to go with please try it once.

What differentiates GitLab from other similar products?
GitLab provided us with all of the tools we required to manage our software development and deployment operations. Support for CI-CD tools, branches, and runners, as well as a user-friendly interface with a GUI and Git capabilities. Multiple teams may work seamlessly with the proper rights and security for private repositories, making software development easier. With the right integrations, all code changes and quality can be readily verified. Overall, a wonderful tool for small to large software development teams to enable them ship and deliver applications quickly.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
It's my second favourite open source tool after Github, my favourite tool for enterprise code, and the best tool for anything that isn't highly confidential because it can be hosted inside an organisation and shared companywide without fear of sharing things that shouldn't be shared or worrying about the platform being hacked by an outside attacker.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Gitlab does have certain limits. We can't, for example, re-request evaluation from our coworkers. In addition, I am not a fan of GitLab's user interface. Specifically, the notification aspect.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
In my opinion, if your company is searching for a location where all of the repositories can be arranged without worrying about the platform, GitLab is the way to go. We can put our faith in it because it is an open source platform.
