What differentiates Datto SIRIS from other similar products?

At a few of our managed service provider (MSP) customers, we implement Datto SIRIS BCDR products. It is a Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery appliance; in a nutshell, it provides on-premises and cloud backups of critical servers, data, and applications, and it enables rapid recovery and virtualized on-premises or cloud recovery. In addition, it protects against data loss and application downtime. is an excellent option for IT Managed Service Providers looking for a channel-only partner. Their partner program encompasses a wide range of businesses. They provide a substantial amount of help for sales and marketing.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

I like The user interface is straightforward. It is not necessary to look up documentation because it is simple to get around and figure out how to complete jobs. The administrative burden of the various restore options is minimal. Local backups that are based on appliances need less effort to implement and maintain, and they are also more expedient.

What do you dislike most about this product?

We have relatively good bandwidth, but with 5 terabytes of data, we would encounter synchronization issues with the cloud servers about once every three months or so. The only option to fix the problem was to get another external drive and sync the data on both of them, although doing so meant losing some of the data. Sometimes there are problems with screen captures, which makes things difficult and necessitates reloading.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

There have been a couple instances were we have been in a disaster situation, and their help has not been there for us during those times. In essence, it was up to each of us to sort it out on our own. In addition, their price points are relatively high when compared to those of their rivals. Additionally, we believe that because of several recent acquisitions, I highly recommend giving Datto's soft option a shot, since it is not only useful for small businesses but also performs very well in large and medium-sized businesses.
