What differentiates Datto SIRIS from other similar products?

The Datto SIRIS is unlike other comparable backup and disaster recovery solutions in that it is a completely integrated and all in one BCDR platform rather than several different tools. It introduces backup disaster recovery, cloud storage and virtualization in one solution; the individual does not have the responsibility of coordinating various vendors or systems. This simplifies deployment and management a lot as compared to traditional tools. It further offers the immutable cloud backups with high ransomware security including the backup verification automation and Cloud Deletion Defense features that means a data is always and recoverable

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The best thing about Datto SIRIS is that it can recover its systems instantly therefore enabling systems to be restored or virtualized within just a few seconds thus reducing the downtime and ensuring that business operations continue running as usual. I also find its one-stop solution really appealing, in which backup, disaster recovery, and cloud storage are all integrated into one system, and it is much easier and efficient to manage.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The reason why I dislike Datto SIRIS is that the pricing may be quite expensive at times, and even complicated, particularly to small companies or expanding conditions. The other weakness is that the quality of customer support may not always be excellent, with certain users claiming that responding to their messages can be slow or they may not be able to resolve some problem.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

When considering Datto SIRIS, you should assess your business needs and budget first as it is a very strong solution, however, it may be quite costly in comparison to others. Before rolling out it to a large scale, test it in a small setting to learn about the backup, recovery, and virtualization capabilities. This will ensure that you do not face configuration problems and can maximize performance.
