What differentiates Webex Meetings from other similar products?

Webex Meetings has become a game-changer for us, especially with how spread out we are across different construction sites. It handles large-scale meetings well, even when we’ve got a mixed bag of people calling in—from the guys on-site to corporate folks back at the office.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The integrated screen-sharing and annotation tools have been a lifesaver. I can’t count how many times we’ve had to go over CAD drawings, and having everyone mark them up in real time saves us from the usual back-and-forth with emails. The mobile app is also a solid feature for us superintendents who are constantly on the move.

What do you dislike most about this product?

Absolutely nothing.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I’d recommend Webex to anyone who’s balancing multiple sites and needs to keep everyone in sync. It’s like having a central hub that keeps the entire project moving smoothly, whether you're dealing with suppliers, subcontractors, or the client.

What differentiates Webex Meetings from other similar products?

What stands out to me is the combination of dependable meeting quality, enterprise controls, and the wider Cisco ecosystem. Webex feels particularly well suited to organizations that need more than basic video calls, with features such as AI meeting summaries, action items, translation, collaboration tools, and integrations with other business systems.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

My favorite part is the reliability of the actual meeting experience. Audio and video generally remain stable, and I have the controls I need for screen sharing, participant management, collaboration, and larger meetings. I also find the AI meeting features useful because summaries and action items reduce the amount of manual note-taking after a meeting.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The main drawback for me is that the number of available settings and features can make the interface feel more complicated than it needs to be. Some options are not immediately obvious, so new users may need time to become comfortable with the workflow. I would also like the performance and loading experience to be more consistent when working with a feature-heavy setup.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would recommend Webex if reliability, security, administration, and enterprise integrations are important requirements. I would spend some time configuring the meeting settings and user policies before a wider rollout, and provide a short introduction for new users because the number of available features can take some time to learn. For organizations already using Cisco products, I would also evaluate the wider ecosystem before making the final decision.
