What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

I haven't used many other products, but this works perfectly for us. When we made the switch the Dayforce from a previous HRIS, we were looking for something that could be an all-in-one system for all of our HR, payroll, and benefit needs, and it has worked wonderfully for us.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease of use. It is very easy to use, and the ability to run so many different reports and have those reports completed so quickly is huge for us.

What do you dislike most about this product?

I am not a fan of their recruiting module. I know they have made several updates recently, but it does not impress me.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

I would highly recommend using this product! It is a wonderful HRIS that is all-in-one.

What differentiates Dayforce from other similar products?

Ceridian Dayforce is truly a product that is held in the cloud and is one product that offers all things HR and Payroll as one unique record from hire to retire. The payroll is very unique in how it handles taxes for both the employee and employer by narrowing location precisely by address and assigning the accurate taxes and will automatically send registration to the State or Local agencies for compliance and reporting. On the HR side, everything is built on this side of the product from hire to retire including benefits and pushes to payroll side; includes requisition process to hire process to onboarding to personal data and history.

What is your favorite aspect of this product?

The ease and efficiency of the product. The self-service for employee and management as well as administrators using the product has saved valuable time so the business can perform successfully and spend more time analyzing and building out the business pipelines. The regular enhancements as well as the future roadmap gives comfortable that the product will continue to be built out to keep up with technology. Customer Services is always there to assist and help solve issues with ease and comfort that they will handle the situation timely and effectively.

What do you dislike most about this product?

The bugs that seem to continue after an upgrade and if something isn't working correctly we have to go through Professional Services and pay for the error or issue to be fixed rather than Ceridian having a team to assist with building out the platform to clear bugs before the new upgrade is released.

What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?

Implementation is hard work regardless of the vendor you choose; be patient and take your time to build out the organization structure within Ceridian Dayforce since everything is run off that structure. Bring over as much history as possible and bring on a dedicated HRIS person that has HR experience as well as technology background to be solely responsible for Ceridian Dayforce to assist with building reports, and taking care of the process to test each upgrade for bugs to avoid issues after the upgrade. Keep in mind that no product can give you 100% of your future needs, therefore, concentrat3e on what you need today!!
