What differentiates Acterys from other similar products?
We never had to explore competitors as we knew Acterys could give us what we required. Plus, Richie really build that relationship with us where we felt welcomed.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The ability to write back to database from Excel and Power BI. Also, just having the data there helps us do more with it. Ability to create datacubes to compare different subsets of data like budgets, exchange rate is key.
What do you dislike most about this product?
We use Acterys for data in Xero. The way the data has been engineered is not 100% correct. There are some serious flaws in the data, which can only be fixed and maintained if a client's organization has resource with specific skill set.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
To some extents Acterys is an FPA solution that any finance professional is seeking help with. However, depending upon the complexities of requirement, having a resource who understands and is able to maintain the data is cruicial. In short, Acterys is a really useful and an efficient tool for finance professional but you need to know what you are doing or have an enthusiasm to learn how to do things better.

What differentiates Acterys from other similar products?
The platform effortlessly supports multi-currency, multi-entity consolidations, both top-down and bottom-up planning approaches.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The built-in forecasting models, advanced analytics, highly interactive visuals, automation of repetitive reporting tasks, and actionable insights, all these are the main reasons I have been using Acterys as an EPM platform.
What do you dislike most about this product?
I have observed that when I deal with complex hierarchies, multi-entity consolidation gets a bit tricky.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Must use the predictive analytics models as they will help you in trend forecasting and anticipating fluctuations or operational risks. The KPI builder feature would also be of great use for you to track analytical measures across departments.

Our financial and operational processes have been significantly streamlined and improved by using Acterys as one of the finest EPM solutions. It seamlessly supports our financial consolidation, workforce planning, and budgeting for sure.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
I like the fact that it provides data consolidation automation, real-time analytics, and dynamic scenario planning, along with write-back capabilities, all under a single platform, hence improved our decision-making process.
What do you dislike most about this product?
At times, the error messages are unclear and unhelpful. Also, Acterys does offer scheduling of data refreshment, but it may not always sync correctly and causing a delay.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would recommend Acterys for anyone struggling with multiple departments, as its multi-entity consolidation will help you by making smooth group reporting.
