This reference architecture provides a structured, end-to-end view of how defense and national security organizations plan, develop, employ, and sustain mission capabilities across all domains. It distinguishes the core mission-defining functions from the shared capabilities that enable interoperability and partnership, and the enterprise-enabling capabilities that support governance, digital platforms, finance, workforce, and security. The model creates a common language for governments, primes, suppliers, technology vendors, and alliance partners to align programs, modernize systems, and strengthen operational readiness.

The visual representation of the mining business reference architecture is transposed into a digestible Excel format for AI workflows to support further processing. The tool also includes descriptions of the terminology and an initial list of applications used within the industry.
