The implementation of new technologies on large construction projects can be perilous. Frontline resistance to new ways of doing things and a focus on “getting the job done” – ahead of the technical components and business goals of new IT implementations – can make the chances of success very slim. As this note discusses, organizational change management best practices can help improve these chances if you are able to inject them early enough in the planning stages of new technology deployments.
