Jing Wu is an Executive Counselor at Info-Tech Research Group with extensive experience as a strategic and outcome-driven technology leader.

Jing brings prolific practitioner experience with a proven track record in strategy development, planning, architecture, and implementation. Combining her deep understanding of sector trends and a passion for technology, Jing collaborates with Info-Tech's Utilities and other industry members to drive impactful outcomes by solving complex challenges.

Throughout her career, Jing has honed her expertise in the utilities industry, not only as a technology practitioner but also a trusted business advisor. She is particularly well-versed in transformative technologies such as advanced distribution management system (ADMS), advanced metering infrastructure (AMI), and advanced data analytics.

Previously, Jing was a Principal Research Director at Info-Tech Research Group, where she led the IT Research and Advisory practice for the utilities industry. She has published numerous industry specific research blueprints, including the Future of Utilities Trends Report, Utilities Industry Business Reference Architecture, Gen AI Use Case Library, IT/OT Convergence Report, and many more. In addition to her research publications, Jing has played an important role in guiding Info-Tech members on their AI journey as an AI Technical Counselor.

Jing holds a master's degree in Computing Science from the University of Alberta, specializing in Artificial Intelligence - Heuristic Search and Probabilistic Robotics.
