What differentiates Zephyr from other similar products?
Its clear integration with Jira software, making it really useful to tie test cases with jira user stories, defects, so we can have a clear understanding of scopes and dependencies.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
Ease of use, really helps with the process of managing test cases, test cycles across sprints so we can scope and focus on the test cases we want to prioritize and make sure pass in each cycle.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Sometimes it lacks on the user experience side, as reusing steps across test cases is not as straightforward as possible.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I strongly recommend to check out how well it plays out with Jira, also look into the test cycles so you can evaluate how you can benefit from it. I would also advise in case you have existing test cases in another platform to really evaluate how worth could be moving those out to zephyr scale as so far I couldn't find an easy way to import test cases from another platform into it.

User friendly GUI and test execution is easy. Defect linkage can be done on the go.

Bit complex for new user. Require some training before use.

Easy to integrate with JIRA and upload Test cases

What differentiates Zephyr from other similar products?
A simple plugin with lot of features especially for the QA team to author and upload the test-cases into the JIRA dashboard in one shot rather than uploading one test-case after other, can upload the sheets at once part of the excel.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The way the mappings of the fields happen at both the JIRA side and also at the local system makes the product more reliable and more easy to integrate the authoring of test-cases into the JIRA dashboard at one repository.
What do you dislike most about this product?
Require too many fields to map the fields with the excel sheet to upload the test-data, case insensitive and doesn't allow the upload of test-cases in cases of simple spaces and special characters.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
Should allow the case insensitive data fields and also allow the inclusion of special characters.
