Best On-Premise Backup Product There Is!

What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?
I have used different backup products in the past however after using Veeam, it comes on the more expensive find but you find that it is more reliable and you receive less backups failures. You can trust to leave it running an know that if you do require to restore, the backups will be ready and working.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
My favourite aspect of the product is the Scale Out Repositories as it gives you the opportunity to use your own cloud storage such as AWS or Azure. I am using AWS and it work like a dream. The SoW's are also good for long term retention now archiving with Veeam 11.
What do you dislike most about this product?
My dislike are the logs and reporting that the product provides. When a backup fails it is not clear at all what the fault is and usually requires a lot of googling or even contacting support to resolve. The product can be very slow and clunky too if it isn't to the right specification.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
If you are considering looking t Veeam as well as other products I would defiantly choose Veeam from experience due to the reliability of the backups. They are easy to setup and understand. I have also found that Veeam support are very helpful when resolving any issues.

What differentiates Veeam Data Platform from other similar products?
Veeam does not overload with features compared to other solutions like Datto. This in term creates a reliable backup solution.
What is your favorite aspect of this product?
The Scale Out Repositories is a great feature allowing to use cloud storage such as AWS and Azure.
What do you dislike most about this product?
The backup server requires a lot of resource for performance and struggle to run within a virtual machine.
What recommendations would you give to someone considering this product?
I would carefully plan the retention policies when using this product and arrange the Backup Job into similar sizes to reduce backup times.
